The Word of God transmitted in any other form is just as powerful.

Such is the conviction of the organisers of an upcoming conference focusing on the impact of music in world evangelisation.

After all, there is evidence that churches have formed and grown and matured in mission fields worldwide through the use of music.

From the Americas to Asia, people have sung, danced, acted and broadcasted the Gospel to good effect, according to Global Consultation on Music and Missions (GCoMM) organiser Joseph Lee, who gave The Christian Post an overview of how music has been used to bring the Gospel to unreached people groups around the world.
